Dogs, bring your humans! Join 2ND Street District for Barkitecture Austin 2007 and enjoy a silent auction of designer dog houses, spectacular shopping & full dog-day afternoon of fun! This event
is free and open to the public!
Saturday, October 20th Noon – 5PM through 2nd Street District
30 of Austin’s best architects, builders and
designers have been chosen to create extraordinary dog houses of varied
designs to be auctioned off to benefit local animal rescue, welfare and advocacy
groups.100% of all proceeds from this year’s silent auction will directly
benefit Animal Trustees
of Austin, Lucky
Mutts, Austin Dog
Rescue and Blue
Dog Rescue. These non-profit, largely volunteer-run groups work to find
forever homes for homeless animals, many of which would otherwise be euthanized
at local shelters.

Noon Event kick-off with designer
doghouses available for bid throughout 2ND Street District
as well as a meet & greet of great dogs in need of great
homes
1 pm Live photo booth with your or soon-to-be-your “best
friend”
3 pm Doggy/Human Fashion show outside Estilo
4 pm Prize drawing outside
